Highlights of the Write On Mission to Israel
Write On Mission to Israel takes place during President’s Week, Senior Year
The mission to Israel is an eight-day issues-driven trip that explores Israel through discussions with journalists and other experts. Students meet with security experts, Israeli military and diplomatic officials, Jewish and Arab journalists, thought leaders and teens to expand their knowledge of the region and the complicated issues surrounding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. As the news changes and develops, so does the Write On For Israel program. Below is a sample of the issues we’ve explored and the speakers who have addressed our students during the Israel mission:
The Issues:
Defending Israel’s northern border
Moral Dilemmas: The challenges facing the IDF
